One thing I learned recently - after having had my machine for five years - is that you don't have to pull the bobbin thread to the top after putting a new bobbin in. Just drop the new bobbin in and start sewing; the machine will pull the thread up automatically. I thought it was something I missed in the book, but the book tells you how to pull it up and doesn't mention that the machine will do it automatically :)

Does anyone know how to find the yahoogroup for the Janome 6600 or 7700. It keeps coming up no group

It's actually listed under Janome 6500, as it was created when that one came out, but it covers all three now :)
