Well it finally happened to me. The old rotary cutter got me. I must have had me left hand to close to the rotary cutter. I was holding the ruler in place, and oops there it went. Gone is the side of the index finger tip. My DH doctored me. But, boy does it sting. Don't do this at home!!!!

Where were your gloves????

I am super careful when rotary cutting and I sliced the top of my foot open. The cutter fell from my cutting table and landed blade down on top of my foot. I had on sandals. Now I always wear slip on shoes that cover my feet in my sewing room. So far I haven't cut my finger. I used to use the Klutz glove every time I cut but got out of the habit. I need to find it and start using it again. One ER visit will buy the top of the line die cut machine and dies!

Oh No! OUCH! So sorry to hear of your mishap, been there done that. Be sure to keep triple antibiotic ointment on it, and keep putting it on throughout the day. It will help it to heal quickly and without scarring.

I use one of the small suction holders now. I've learned to not cut when I'm tired now.

Good luck and may you have a speedy finger recovery.

Ouch!!!! Make sure you some Anti-bacterial ointment on it for a few days. You don't want it to get infected!!!!
