Awesome quilt!! Good job! I have been wanting to make a tie quilt for a long time and have a bag full. Just bought a new book at JoAnn's titled "Necktie Quilts Reinvented" by Christine Copenhaver from Franklin, Tennessee. Includes tips about washing, deconstructing, value, planning, organizing, cutting and piecing etc. Also, includes several patterns for quilts, runners and pillow. Her website is necktiequilting.com.

I have been removing the linings from ties to ready for a quilt I want to make out of them. It just takes a lot of time to do that and I get bored and put it aside. I hope to get it all ready to go at some time soon, but I have around 200 ties to do. Love your quilt!

I love your quilt! How long did you cut the ties? Bev

Lovely-I am making a log cabin quilt out of men's ties. I have lost interest in it though. Hopefully I'll get back to it.

Are they still available? Or were you just joking? I would like to know how much $$ you want for them. Thanks. Ellie

That's beautiful, nice touch to add the smaller partial plates in the corners. I wish that I had thought to do something with my dad's ties, they all ended up at goodwill.
