I love the quilt on this blog but can't find where to buy the pattern. I've googled it and tried to draft it myself to no avail. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think this is it.

Looks fairly simple to copy. just sew two strips of fabric together, then use a triangle ruler to cut the pieces, alternating the ruler with each cut. Then sew the triangles together, sort of like a stack 'n' whack, or OBW to achieve the hexagon shape. hope it helps.

Here's the one I did and another member did it too. I started with a video demo of a triangle ruler (but never bought it) for making the hexagons - was a very helpful method to make the 2 color hexagons - and just went from there! I still have some notes if this is what you want:

I typed Sandy Klop Merry Go Round Quilt in my browser and found the pattern for sale. I tried to c/p the website but it won't let me. Hopefully you can type this in your browser and it will take you to the page. It's over 1/2 way down the page. Crossing my fingers that it works for you.

I thought I saw it on a blog somewhere a while ago....here's ann champion's version http://annchampion.com/?p=55 I could be wrong, but I also thought there was a magazine showing how to make it (for same colored center with darker outer fabric for each hexagon). Same idea, just alternating halves with another set of hexagons.

Yep, that is how I would do it. Kaye Wood has a pattern called 'Stacking My Blocks' that works on this principle....
