I learned it is okay to do it your own way! Think outside the box! I have diffrent ideas on quilting than my friends, felt like an outsider, but then I realize that is just my "quilting style" and that is cool!

i have learned a lot of things on this board-quilting tips, i will always see even more quilts that i want to make and the term "cozy quilter", but i love the organization tips that have been on here. i'm still working on implementing them.

My recent "learn"....take a picture of a scrappy quilt layout and look at it on the computer. I recently moved the blocks 3 times to change color sequence...and I thought the first layout was good! Also, when doing darks/lights.....take a pic and put it in computer and change colors to black and white. It'll show you whether you have something in the wrong value.

Amandasgramma...this sounds great and im probably the only one that needs more info...do you put the pix on "Word" or do you need special software? Thnx
