I joined last month (quilting for many years) and just learned how to photograph a quilt...now if I could only learn how to follow the directions to post a pix without getting admonished by "admin...don't post personal addresses, don't add attachments to a topic post" etc. I'd be so happy!

Your fabric before you cut it....then it wont wobble. Also I starch my square once it is made

That making a quilt is not a race, that if slow down and take my time I can make a quilt that I'm really proud of. The joy is in the making; quality versus quantity.

The one most important thing.....Don't be so hard on yourself!!! NO ONE is perfect, ladies!!! No matter how hard you try, your quilt will never be perfect. So, lighten up on yourself. A few mistakes you make will only be known by you, and will NEVER be noticed by whoever you give it to. That's it. The most important thing.
