LOL, "THERE ARE NO QUILT POLICE HERE!". My first learnt expression that went a long way with me. I don't worry now that I am not as far advanced as others or that my work is not perfect lol (far from it). I try to just enjoy it and learn what I can as I go!

To have fun and don't worry if it isn't perfect. There are no quilt police.

To show you how much of a beginner I am, the tip that I appreciate the most is to press from the top and how to do that, laying the light side down and pressing the seam towards the dark side!! I smile and thank the tipper every time I use it, which is every time I sew. It makes things so much easier.

Always buy more fabric than you think you will need for a project, just to make sure you have enough, mistakes can happen and fabrics are sold out and discontinued all of the time. The extra fabric will never go to waste.

Those look so-o-o-o comfortable. I like my feet warm too. Mostly I wear my crocs with socks.

Amen and relax, relax, relax and you are not alone. We've all been there, done that and the world didn't end.
