I sit here first thing every morning and last thing every night and many times inbetween. So much that my neck hurts! Does anyone else have this problem? Thank the Lord for Tylenol, Bengay and my bed buddy!

I use my heating pad, in-fact I keep it by the computer.

I have a rice neck warmer  it helps keep my neck from hurting :D:D:D

its all to do with posture!!! someone on here mentioned some time ago about keeping your head in line with your body - sitting up straight in other words!!! lol it does make a difference since I have been keeping a check on the way I sit my neck pain has definitely reduced

I just had an epideral injection in my neck last week because of degerative discs. The injection was quite painful, and the injection site was very painful for days afterwards. My neck looks like I have a huge hicky on it. ;o)
FMQing causes me the most neck pain, that and using the pc. Does anyone else notice that they use a lot to downward force while quilting. What I am trying to say is, when you are moving the quilt under the needle, creating your design, do you notice that your hands are pushing down on the quilt to facilitate moving it? I am getting ready to quilt a large lap quilt and have moved my tables so I do not have any drag from the quilt hanging off the sides. JulieM |
set a timer, get off the computer and go sew something!

I think that sometimes I am in a hurry to get it done and tense up my neck and sholders. Then I get pain between my sholder blades.
