The easiest way to distinguish a featherweight for me is if the extended bed of the machine folds up, and nearly touches the top of the machine. (The really short bed that folds up is another model) |
O, ok. I haven't seen these. They are at my parents house. They are telling me over the phone. LOL
Does anyone know anything about either of these machines? Would love to hear. Thanks for your help so far. They have another one but it's also in a cabinet and it was my stepdad's great grandmother's or grandmothers-he's 66! So, I can't wait to look up about it. :) |
Also, can someone clear up what a treadle is for me? I am new at all of this lingo. ;)

A treadle is a sewing machine that's mounted in a cabinet with a foot pedal that you manually pump.
