Thanks for sharing. If we can learn not only from our own mistakes, but those of others who are willing to admit them, we can do some great things! I wish I always learned from my mistakes!

lol I don't have an embroidery machine, but I have quilted my flipped back quilt to the back of my quilt. Not a mistake I'll be likely to make again...those stitches weren't fun to rip out! LOL

Did the same thing with a beautifully embroidered (oh well) tea towel I made for Christmas gift oopsie.

I embroidered some baby burp cloths once, and realize too late that the bootie design was upside down. Oh well, gave it to the new mom anyway, with baby spit who could tell!

My personal variation on this one is to get an extra bit of the quilt caught in the quilting hoop.

Yea it is something we have all done and probably never do again.
