Saw part of Sewing with Nancy segment and her guest?, showed pictures of pillowcase dresses and am looking for
pattern. I guess each end at the seams are scooped out and sewn with long bias tape in order to go over shoulders and tie. In between taped arm hole scoops the material was gathered with elastic. At the bottom of the case, there were a row or two of ruffles (probably so they could be let down as the child grew). Also important, they had patch pockets. Does anyone one have more information or know who to contact as I do not do clothing but am willing to try pillowcase dresses as have SO much old calico to use up. Thank you. Cindy |
