Quilt binding Clips

Has anyone tried the red quilt binding clips..I ordered some from Amazon.com..they had the best price..50 for
$18.12 . They had great reviews..anxious to hear from some of you...I'm so tired of being stuck with pins, when I bind my quilts...Surely this will be better...thanks

My daughter gave me that set for my BD. I really like them. Makes binding go much better. No more pin sticks!

I know some that are using the hair clip for binding - don't know if these are the same or not

I use the hair clips .... IMHO they hold the binding flatter, straighter and more even than if doing it with pins. And great too when hemming skirts, etc.

LQS' sell them as "official" binding clips .... or go to the $ $tore for the same thing, for a LOT less $$$$ !!!!

I have the "hair" clips and they are good, but I bought some of the red Clover binding clips and LOVE them.

When I sew bindings, I use 3 pins. I turn down a few inches at a time and move the pins as I progress. I never have trouble with pin sticks.

I hate pinning binding. I have not tried the red clips but I love the el cheapo hair clips. I might try the others.

I use the little silver clips. They look like hair clips but are sold in the sewing dept. and are a bit cheaper.

I just hold the binding with my fingers, and I've never seen any need for pins or clips. What am I missing?
