I only use the Wonder Clips when finishing binding by machine. I put them fairly close together and they held everything perfectly in place. Using them I was able to satisfactorily straight stitch on a binding the first time I used them. I tend to be a perfectionist and was totally unhappy with my machine finished attempt before. I finally resorted to a decorative stitch. Not my first choice. My real preference is hand finished and I love to do it. There just isn't always time.

I just fold the binding over as I sew.

Dunster that's what I do also I used to use the hair clips but figured it was one extra step I didn't need to make.

I use the hair clips I got them at Walmart a long time ago and they work great.

I have used the hair clips and just found my package of the red clips, they were right where I had put them, anxious
to try them as a friend said they were easier than the hair clips. |
I use the hair clips (in the hair care department) from Walmart...cheap and they work nicely and cost about $1.99 for 12 of them.

They are called "Wonder Clips" I love mine, no more pins sticking me or scratching me. They can be used for so many things, a new one I just learned of was to use them when you are English paper peicing. Must try that one myself as well.

I also LOVE the red clips! They are easier and faster to put on and pull off of my quilt when I'm binding IMO. I don't have to unclick or click anything, just apply a little pressure for them to open. They are awesome!!!!!

If they are the Clover red binding clips, I love them. I use a few for bindings and also English Paper Piecing.
