I just realized that I put my blocks together wrong. Should I take them apart and correct them or finish them the way they are. I have 12 done (wrong) and 8 to go. It's the Take Five pattern.

Depends on how bad they look TO YOU. If you can live with it, just keep going the way you have been. You can call it a "design decision". After all, lots of new quilt blocks were invented by rearranging the elements of older ones.
If it bothers you, change it. |
Yes, I had to rip out like 8 ,,,but glad i did..U can, or if you like it that way..leave it!

It's like this: A WEED is only a plant YOU don't like.
So if YOU like the 'new' design then keep at it. If not then change it. It'a all up to you. :) |
Depending on your fabric, you may leave them be. If the fabric is busy and you dont see a pattern, leave it alone. If you want the "stair steps" to show, you may have to rearrange them. Show us a photo for a better idea. I have done many of these and quilted even more!

If you put blocks together wrong, the 'Take Five' pattern is the best one to do it with. Those blocks are kind of scattered anyway, in my opinion. If it looks good, leave it.

I've made a couple of take five quilts and you can put them together any way you like. A mistake is just another way of doing something.

post a picture for us, please

I would rip them out, because I wouldn't be happy knowing they are wrong.
