Noticed that for 2 months (only went there once) so called company and the credited my account. So does this ustream.tv/channel/quiltville charge?? Thanks

Good question!!!!! I hesitate signing up to all these sites........I swear they end up "selling" the email addys just like junk mail.......don't want any part of that......I really don't want to have to walk around with an electronic device strapped to me so as not to "miss" something.........too complicated..........

I have used Ustream before, and there was no charge

If you sign up for her blog posts, she will mention on there when she will do Quilt Cam. Her blogs are alot of fun to read as when she travels she blogs about it right then so it is like you are there with her. She even blogged when she went to Bali and showed us lots of photos of Bali and the batik fabric factories that she got to tour. It was very interesting to see how they make batik fabric. Just go to her website and sign on to get her daily blogs.

It's 4:06 on Sunday and I am watching Bonnie Hunter paper piece on her treadle live on her Ustream. I thought I would let those who are interested know on QB.

I don't think I've ever been to her blog. Very nice. I friended her on FB too. Hope to see some of the Ustream too. Thanks for the tip.

Ustream is free but if you want the no ad version it cost a few dollars. I use the free, the ads aren't intrusive.

Thanks, everyone, for this information. Bonnie Hunter is so much fun -- I look forward to seeing her on this venue!

I watched it yesterday too - she gives so many great tips as she is sewing on her projects, always promoting to use what you have. She is down to earth and also has a great sense of humour - some of her comments can be quite entertaining.

Does anyone know if you are able to pull up the video after it has aired?

slicksister 12-03-2012 10:59 AM

You can only pull up the video after it has aired if she has pushed the record button while filming. Other wise the camera is just on and the video is live but not recorded to be viewed later. Does that make sense?
