Seems like 1,000's of squares

It seems like I have that many but really about 500 5x5 squares that I have cut with "left over" material and now am wondering to do with them all. There are many different patterns on them of course. Thank you for "listening" and have a blessed day

I love just plain old patchwork! Sometimes I add Strips to make big blocks around patches... have lots of compliments on these quilts. Easy, no pattern, it gets "stuff" out of the way. No more spare patches hanging around waiting, waiting, waiting for an inspiration to happen! Good luck.

How about separating them into light and dark values and making a carpenter's sqare quilt.

Or get any one of the "Nickle QUilt" books by Pat Speth. My favorite is "More Nickel Quilts: 20 New Designs from 5-Inch Squares". A nickle quilt uses 5" blocks. I really did cut thousands from recycled shirts and used these books. Also visit the Moda bake shop for free charm pack patterns. Lots out there!

The twister is fun and something a bit different. The medium size ruler uses 5" squares. It goes fast! My only fyi on this quilt is to be sure to stay stitch the edge when you are finished with the top.

What fun! I used about 100 for a nice size lap quilt, so you have enough for five.

I just borrowed a book from the library written by the woman who invented the ScrapTherapy program. The program is to cut your scraps into 2", 3.5" and 5" squares. The book has patterns for these squares. It retails for 24.95.

But I've seen smaller booklets and individual patterns for ScrapTherapy.
