I seen that the quilt show in Sisters, Oregon is in July.
Which leads me to this tidbit I heard while we were at my husband's doctor appointment last week. I was reading a quilting book and he told us that he heard there was more drinking and booze sold during the quilt show, than at the rodeo the month before. Wonder who was doing all the drinkin'? |
Could be quilters???? Could be DHs?????

I think it's all the "spouces" or "significant others" that got dragged to the show with the quilter.

Geez...things must have really changed since I had the great good fortune of attending this show with my dh. I admit that it has been quite a few years ago, but I know that we weren't drinking and I had no awareness of any others that were either.

I have no idea where that came from. I go to the Sisters Quilt Show every year and I haven't seen any drinking going on. Hmmmm.

There are "after hours" parties that occur...both for the merchants and the attendees...and I'd be willing to bet that if the statistic was broken down, a lot of the alcohol involved is wine...
As for "street parties"...they don't happen. |
