A Featherweight WOW.................. |
SuzzyQ, what's the score? We're all wanting to know!
It's all a matter of price! All of us who own FW love them. You'll never regret this purchase.
Reading this, I'm thinking...WOW! I'd love to get a Featherweight...not for me, but for my sister, as a thank-you for her hospitality each year that I've gone to Montana and stayed with her for a bit over a week. Yes, she's a quilter...and I'm thankful for her getting me hooked on it! :)
Whatever you and she decide on the machines, you might let her know that there are bunches of us on this board who would dearly love to have one or both of those machines.
Why can't I meet people like this?
Take them home to see if they work. And happy birthday happy Easter happy happy for the next few years.
I would have them if afffordable. I have 2 already and wouldn't bother me to have 2 more.

Quick update - still haven't heard if they can be sold since the two owners are still alive but not using them. They were two brands I'd never heard of - on brown and one black but both shuttle bobbins types. I pointed her to the local sewing machine museum guy for a valuation. They seemed to be 3/4 size. Cute little machines.
