Teddy Bear Pattern from fabric scraps

I give up! On one of the threads someone started about memory quilts they had made with someone's clothing, somebody posted an awesome picture of a patchwork Teddy Bear that she made with clothing scraps. I can't find that thread and would really love to know what the pattern was for that Teddy Bear. Been searching the Internet for Teddy Bear patterns, but can't find one quite like the one posted on the forum here.

Help! Not trying to put either my 87 year old mother or 87 year old mother-in-law in their graves any time soon, but I would like to do something like this for the grand-kids at some point to remember their Grandmas.

Thanks!

That's not the one I remember. The Bear I saw was primarily plain squares of fabric. It was absolutely precious.

I don't know the thread you are looking for.
However, this bear would lend itself to what you want, I'm sure ....

I used assorted browns for the body, but who says he has to be brown? :)
And you could use assorted scraps for the other sections too.

He's adorable, but I'm looking for a pattern to make a stuffed teddy bear that is made from quilt squares, not an actual quilt.

I didn't get that, sorry.
You could make your yardage out of your fabrics and then take any Teddy Bear pattern and cut out the pieces from the newly made fabric.

One of the pattern companies--can't remember which one--has a great bear patterns made out of patches of different fabric. It makes 3 sizes and is not too hard. I have made a lot of bears in the past. It wouldn't be too hard to sew the patches together and then use the fabric to cut out the pieces. I pattern is probably Simplicity or McCalls. Good luck finding just the right bear.

Quilter's Cache has a free teddy bear block, I believe it's a 24" block.

I'm sorry I didn't read through the replies before I posted.
