nativetexan 01-04-2010 08:49 AM

ha, ha. i thought you really wanted to cut with two blades at one time. couldn't figure out why. i've done it though, doesn't work well.

Pinkiris 01-04-2010 09:46 PM

But it's not our fault!!! (whining)

When you buy 5 packs of blades, they are oiled and stuck together. You risk losing a fingertip trying to get just one out of the stack!

So, it's the blade-maker's fault that Barnbum tried to cut with 2 blades!!

I've never done that before, but have tried to cut with no blade.

davis2se 01-05-2010 05:32 PM

OMG. I am SO glad that I am not the only one to do this. I COULD NOT figure out what was up with my rotary cutter when this happened. I'd just changed the blades, but the thought that I had two blades in NEVER crossed my mind. I actually took my cutter to a friend, and we fretted about it for close to 20 minutes before we (truthfully SHE) figured out that I had two blades in. The good thing is that it will never happen again.

I have never done that(maybe I'm off)what was the purpose.......is it supposed to do something miraculous?
Would seem kinda dangerous hey?

I couldn't figure out why there was so much lint. Boy did I feel like a jerk when I realized what happened.
