I usually make bedsizes too!

I mostly do wall hangings and "orphan blocks" - just because I love to paper piece and find intricate little designs I want to play with.
Although, right now I've been doing gigantic Tshirt quilts for a bunch of boys who are going off to college. (as a for-hire job) |
I started big, gradually went to little, then back to big, now I'm going back to little again.

Bed size for me, at least a double size, rarely a wall hanging. I do have occaision when I wonder 'how many bed quilts is too many'? especially when we only have 2 beds, quilts are only used on one of them; but, then it passes and I make another quilt!

I make wall hangings because I like to see the whole design. And small doll quilts for charity, as a good way to experiment. I sew little plastic rings on small quilts. You can even use rings from soda cans!

I have been on a lap quilt binge recently, but that's for Christmas gifts. I usually do wall hangings. I like that I can do a simple one quickly, or an intricate one and take however long I want. I hang them above my mantle and change them often. I have a curtain rod with the loops with the little clips up there to hang them. I have done the sleeve method, too. Just finished a french braid for that spot, but it's too big, so will have to think about it for awhile.

I make an occasional wall hanging but most of mine are full size or larger.
