Ours in central MS has been getting more and more in..Went today and we will only have two aisle but they have a good bit in now...I got some nice fall colors for 2.00 yard, they had just got in..
Also we had never lost our fabric because we have no where else in town to buy it.

I'm not making show quilts. Mostly kids quilts and personal sized quilts, so Walmart is fine with me.

BTW------in the past, I've found some Walmart fabric at JoAnn's for several dollars a yard more--------------same manufacturer.

Saw bolts of fabric at "our" WalMart this evening.
Not many yet - but a start.

Looks like they are clearancing out the June Tailor items. Got a large cutting mat for $7 and the larger cut n press for $9.

However, what I went for - wood shims to level a bookcase - they did not have.

I sure hope one of the walmarts we have in all 4 directions 60 mins away from us gets back some bolts of fabrics. The little yarn shop we have here in town has a few fat quarters but not a lot and the quality of them seems iffy at best most of the time. Thin/off color/wider than normal machine marks down the edges and they aren't marked as seconds and she sure doesn't sell them at second prices 2.49 a fQ.

Like someone said, some of it is good, some of it is "mystery" fabic. I have a bolt of something that actually says "unknown content" lol You can tell the "mystery" stuff because it's usually marked at $1-$2 and is usually ever frayed on the bolt. You've just got to give it a feel. The stuff that runs between $3-$4 is usually cotton, but not necessarily "quilt store" quality. The stuff that is priced higher that you see at every Walmart and have seen for years is "quilt store" quality.

I think Hobby Lobby is over priced and don't have a Joann's nearby that I know of.

What I do have is MaryJo's!!! Fabric-aholic Heaven!!!!

Where do you want me to shop? I can afford to shop quilt store fabrics, but choose not to.. I prefer to leave something for the children!
