What is that material that one uses that is silver used in making potholders and such....you know like what you find on ironing board covers.
For the life of me I can't remember what it is called. |

hehehe! If you hadn't asked...I could have told you! I do remember it starts with an *I*.

well there is a silver quilted one, JoAnn's should have it.
then out came insul-bright which is white on both sides with a bit of silver stuff in the center. they both work. |
I have bought that silver cloth but don't know what it is called. I don't think it's insubrite as that's a special type of batting for hot stuff.

Insulbrite is the one I use
|
i bought 3yds insulbrite at hobby lobby for $2.47/yard that i use for the potholders i make. next time i will use a coupon to get more at a great price.
hancock fabrics sells insul-fleece(?) at about $9.95/yard. |
The solid silver fabric that deflects heat is called Heat Resistant fabric. Therma-Flec is the most common brand. I like the solid much better then Insulbrite.
