I haven't made enough to do anything with them. I've made a few lap quilts for family members but that's about it. Do you sell them, give them away, etc. My problem would be getting too attached. I have the patterns and materials for 3 quilts and I can't see me getting rid of them. My job is moving to a nicer building in Aug and I will have a more private office. I'm thinking of displaying one on a wall. I collect windchimes and have them hanging in my present office. Everyone is making sure I take them with me. They say they are a part of me and if I don't take them it would be like leaving part of me behind. Since I can do that I don't think there would be a problem with management letting me display a quilt. It would be a lot nicer than some of the pictures they currently display. I would be interested in hearing what you do with your quilts.

Oakie, I think displaying your quilt would be a great idea.

I give most of mine away, have kept my first one and made one for our bed.
Someone always wants one. My DIL will get one for her 50th BD in Nov.

Mine have all been gifts. I don't have one thing (except a purse) that I've made and kept. I'm working on a quilt for dh's birthday. It'll be the first keeper.

My quilts usually become gifts too...Right now all of my siblings have one and all of DH siblings will be recieving theirs next month... For Christmas this year I will be making twin sizes for all my neices and nephews.. That will be 8 for Christmas..

They bring such joy even to others and are usually really appreciated..

All the quilts I make, I have someone in mind to give it too (usually family). They are all made of their choice of colors & my choice of patterns.

I set a goal for myself...I'm going to make everyone in my family a quilt before I die. Hopefully, that won't be for a veryyyy long time!

I have lost tract of the quilts I have made, I have given to the family, friends and sold some. Depends on who wants one when it is finished. I also have several wallhangings (small quilts) displayed around my house. I use them for wedding gifts or what ever comes along. My brother will be getting the next one when it comes back from the long armer. Marge

I keep most of mine. I have made over 60 and have only given away 6. But, I start all of mine with "I want this one" goal so, when I want to make one for someone else I have to go out and buy everything for it so that it isn't one I am already attached to. I am attached to everything in my "kit" stash over 150 projects.

Probably 99% of my quilts are donated to organizations such as battered women's shelters and foster children. They're not heirloom quality, most are lap sized or twin, tied not quilted. But I hope they're appreciated.

I have given some away, kept a few. I do have one hanging on my office wall & have room for more, just haven't hung any more up...YET! lol
I have sold one. And, at my guild, as part of our membership, we are asked to donate at least one quilt to our philanthropy committee, and those quilts are given to the YWCA WINGS shelter, the local fire & police depts, and now to the soldier angels program.
