This is probably something so obvious to everybody else, but whenever you all say pp or PP, I don't know what it is.

Paper Picecing  :D:D:D

It stands for paper piecing. It's a technique for creating blocks where you stitch on paper and trim as you go to 1/4 inch seam allowances. It makes it easier to piece odd shaped and small pieces.

oh boy, how silly of me... thanks, Amma and Finely.

I probably didn't think of that since I hate paper piecing. When I'm ready to try it again, I'll come here and ask advise.

Try the February BOM. It is PP and easy. It makes a really pretty block.

I'm over 50 and it means something totally different to me (usually requires hurried movement) lol

Mad.... you are soooo funny! At 60, I mustn't laugh too hard at you or else it'll be pp time for me and I don't mean paper piecing either!

Sometimes its what the dog has to do when he goes to the door.....LMAO! sorry!

Don't make me laugh to hard.....:)

Until I started coming to this board, PP always meant "previous poster" to me.
