I like the blue print best also. So pretty!

I definitely like the blue better. This quilt has such a lovely vintage look and the others are too contemporary. The blue print with the navy dots is perfect.

It is a gorgeous quilt.

Thanks. Both the fabrics come from the Aunt Gracie line. the pink was one from one of the other 1930's lines a few years ago. :-)
Wow I wish I had just bought the blue and saved my money now. lol I could have bought another couple of yds of my bathroom fabric. Maybe I will use it on the back.
Oh and I did look for red but none of the reds were close to the red in the quilt. They were either too orange or too dark. Just enough of a difference that it was noticeable.

The fourth arrangement is my favorite. I have some 1930s vintage fabric that is quite similar. Frames the top but doesn't compete. Have you thought about quartering or otherwise deconstructing the extra block and putting the pieces in the corners of the border?

Seems like most everyone likes the blue . Blue it is.
As far as deconstructing the blocks, I have 2 BTW, these are hand stitched block I am afraid if I started cutting they would really start coming apart. I think I will just put them on the back and use the other fabrics on the back too.

Some of these fabrics are from the 1940's . The lady in the shop yesterday said her mom had a robe out of one of the fabrics.
So today I wash my fabrics, tomorrow I cut and Monday I sew. One more UFO on the road to completion. :-)
I have 1 other set of vintage blocks And thats it on the vintage stuff I think. Unless something else turns up that's been buried.
