A few days ago I saw a picture of the most beautiful log cabin American flag quilt in Pictures. I even kept a copy of it. ... but cannot find the post again. Would love to know where to find that pattern. Can any one help me?

If I remember correctly, the quilter did not have a commercial pattern. It was just log cabin squares done up to suit her design. May be that I am mistaken but don't think so.

This has to be it. This one is gorgeous. The centers are HSTs. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-123228-1.htm

Imitation, they say, is the best form of flattery. Just look at the pattern and graph it. If you'd rather not do that just PM her and ask where she got the pattern.

Thanks everyone!

I wouldn't say that it is my own design, a couple years ago before I started quilting I seen a quilt that was made with uneven log cabin blocks they were put together in a way that formed a flag. I don't have a picture of the original, nor do I know where it came from I just remember seeing it while looking for something else. I sat down at the computer last year and twisted and turned an uneven template until I got it just right.

The only block used in this quilt is called an uneven log cabin block with the center "log" being a HST!

this is from her original post...hope it helps

It is an amazing quilt isn't it.
