You know you're a quilter if you won't let your child live with you while they go to community college because you would have to give up the converted sewing room.

you know you are a quilter if you invite guest over for a meal and you tell them the quilt top on the table is an oversized table runner.

I love these. They are so true. I told my son he could not move back in because I had fabric in there now. LOL

You know you're a quilter when you pick threads out of your hubby's 5 o'clock shadow at the gas station, grocery store, Dollar General.....

You know you are a quilter/sewer when you get up in the morning and you still have the pins in your pj's (chest area) you put there for "just in case" and forgot about it. (BTW I never get stuck either) .
You know you are a quilter when you go to the store with your wrist pin cushion on because you are so used to it, you forgot you were wearing it. (I've done that several times). |

Gosh I have turned into a quilter :D :D :D Elle There is a tiny village up above town called BeeLog. It was a logging town until that petered out. The elemntary school is called Beelog Elementary and they have the log cabin block on the side of the school building. I thought that was pretty cool. |

Gosh I have turned into a quilter :D :D :D Elle Elle: The little town that we will be retiring to in the mountains of North Carolina DOES have quilts on the buildings and barns and such around town. Its possible with a grant for Handmade in America. They are wooden "quilts" and each one is usually a pattern special to that person. Like the realtor in town has the house block on their building! So even if you go to town and don't have time to stop at the quilt shop, you can still get an eyeful of quilts! There is a tiny village up above town called BeeLog. Lisa, Too funny. I was just saying to hubby. We really don't need this big bedroom just to sleep in and I'm considering moving us into the guest room, and he says " You want a bigger sewing room, eh?"
Yep, you know you are a quilter when you can't wait to have an empty nest so you have more room for sewing machines and cutting tables. |
