or when sitting on the toilet staring at the tile on the floor and designing a new quilt block.

when you "steal" your friend's child's crayons at the restraunt so that you can practice your quilting pattern on the paper tablecloth before the drinks come. Hey, when do you get to practice on paper that big?

When you can't pass up a fabric store without stopping and buying more faric even tho you have 25 shelves full of fabric already.

When you can't fall asleep because quilt "math" and images of blocks keep popping into your head.

When you come home with a full shopping bag & find a box from Fabric.com waiting on the porch....

Mostly all of the above. I have a very small stash, mostly remnants from Hobby Lobby or Hancock's and some garage sale finds.

when my family has to take me by the arm to guide me thru a hotel lobby while I snap pictures of the carpet. Or when they have to wait for me to 'just run back real quick and get a quick pictures of the wall in the elevator. I could QUILT that!' yes..you are one of a sisterhood! ...or is that 'quilter-hood'?
