She lives in Twin Mountain.

I'm not sure if the yard sale was in Twin, but it must have been close to that town.

Where in NH are you located?

I'm maybe 60 miles south of her. It's gorgeous up in that part of the state (not too shabby here, either), but I sure hope your sister doesn't regret sending you that nice heavy quilt. It does get cold up there!

I don't think that she regrets me having it.

But she is always "hinting" that she would like for me to make her a quilt. She's even "suggested" the colors!! LOL

I haven't been quiltiing for that long and I've been making my immediate family quilts first. She will get one, I'm just not sure when.

Now my other sister, who lives in Delaware, came for a visit in June and brought her son's athletic jersey's and wants me to make a quilt out of those. I have no idea how I'm going to do that.

Sisters!! Gotta love them!!!! LOL

And I don't think that she regrets me having it, because they were not her colors!!

If they were, I never would have gotten it!!! LOL

I hear you about sisters! :D Mine has a "significant" birthday in November, so I'm just starting on a new quilt for that occasion. Won't be one of those puffy ones though. Never again!

How "significant" is the she?

What are you going to make her?

I just read the directions on that link, I never would have made it that way! Mine was a pattern, Simplicity or Butterick or something or other, you sewed 3 sides, did not turn, stuffed, then it was sewed to the next one. All done in 12 patch blocks, it had a backing so that's when the seams were covered.

I, also, did some biscuit/puff baby quilts back in the 70's. Was a great way to use not only fabric stash but also batting scraps which were too small to use in a regular quilt but okay for bisquits. I've even pieced smaller pieces of fabrics together to use along with the whole fabric puffs. Have fun with your biscuits!
