For the first time in a loooong time I have no "next project" that I need to start after the current project is completed. I'm free to chose what I work on next, but I can't seem to decide. I have 5 or 6 different quilts planned out and fabric bought for, but none of them are calling to me louder than the others. They're all yelling "start me!" at the same level. :)

I know I'm not the first to have this dilemma. What have y'all done in this situation? Throw the project names in a hat and draw one out? :)

Make a small project like a table runner and then see which one is calling your name.

Rachel, I don't think we're much of a help- all telling you to start something else haha
I think the hat sounds good though. But I also like the other ideas :D:D
Can't wait to see- you always do beautiful work!

i usually start something totally different not included in "the list". i like scrappy quilts alot so i start up a new one until i feel inspired to start a new project. scrappy quilts are good for that, you can pick it up at anytime, like a string quilt. lots of fun. i even use my used dryer sheets for foundation! yes it works just fine and it smells good too.

Oh good grief, I should have known y'all would come up with that kind of answer! :D I think I possibly would only add to my problem if I were to buy more fabric at this point.

Maryb, I like your idea. I actually bought some fabric for a table runner last month that I had forgot about until you posted that idea. I think that just may be what I work on next. Thanks!

Susan, you have complimented me so many times recently and really touched me by doing so. I can't begin to tell you how much those little comments mean to me. Thank you.

Pick any of your projects and sew just ONE block. If it piques your interest, go on and make more. Or go on and try a DIFFERENT project's block. Sooner or later one of them is going to grab you.
