    The dryer does as much or more shrinking as the washer, so if you are REALLY trying to preshrink, you need to use the dryer. If you're not worried about shrinkage (which is true for most fabrics except muslin), the freezer trick sounds GREAT!

    Thank you for all of your suggestions. Key4unc no offense taken. I was able to wash all my fabric. Only bought enough for the top and they were all pale colors.

    Wash it in the sink and roll in towel then dry with iron
