Question on inserting sewing machine into my table
#1
My husband made me a nice table for sewing but now I'm thinking I'd like to insert my Pfaff sewing machine into the table to be a flat surface instead of using my extension table. Does anyone know how I could go about doing this? I am not having any luck with researching this. Thanks so much.

he'll have to make a tray or box underneat to hold the machine
when he cuts out the hole for the machine be sure to leave room to get your hand to the on/off and anything else you made need to fiddle with.
soon after my hudband got my homemade table just like i wanted it (lots of changing my mind) i got a new machine and it won't fit, so now i'm back to using my extension! LOL i don't blame him but it's hard to know just how you need it to be untill you've tried it out, then you know what needs to be changed or what you wish you'dve asked for in the first place.

Here's a link to the one my hubby did for me. Go to page 4 as well...there's more pictures of the shelf he made for the machine to sit on

My DH fixed a desk for me to use with my sewing machine. He cut the opening on top where I wanted it and made a shelf in the bottom to hold the machine. We purchased a sheet of masonite and stained it to match the desk and when I wasn't sewing, we used it for writing and whatever. Wish I had it now, I could use it.
