I am cleaning out my sewing room, trying to get organized. I have a few block of the month kits from JoAnn's. I don't have the complete kit. I don't know what to do with them. I don't want to through them out. Any suggestions???

Could you combine them with some additional blocks into a sampler lap quilt??? If this style is not "your" cup of tea, you could donate it to a charity or nursing home... :D :D :D

That is exactly what I'd suggest (like amma's)...not sure how many blocks you have or how different....could find a good fabric to match up and do alternating solid blocks w/the sampler type blocks. Make a lap size...etc. If it is something you are not going to really like for yourself..make a lap quilt and donate it to a nursing home...it would go for great use there!! And, the smaller of a lap quilt is good in the wheel chairs;)Skeat

Or you could complete each block with quilting and binding and use them for small wallhangings or doll quilts.... :D

You could put them in the classified sections some one may need them and could buy or trade them

You could put them in the buy-sell-trade section here and see what happens - are these made up blocks or kits to make up the blocks?

You could make pillows out of the ones you like best and maybe frame a couple more to coordinate.

I like the pillow idea. That way you would still be able to use them.
