I know they have those rings for when you Embroider by hand... do they offer those for quilting? just the ring... cause all I need that for would be a doll quilt... So do they make those or do I have to get the big quilting tables (I don't know what those are called! lol)

I think you mean hoops? The have various sizes at places like A C Moore and Michaels. They also have quilting lap frames made out of PVC type pipe with clips that hold the quilt in place. Check it out and see what would work best for you.

The quilting frame! thats what I meant! lol Thanks Nursie76... I will... I only need it for the doll quilts cause it will hole the thing in place and stuff... thats why... but I may just keep doing tie offs for now... till I get a machine.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Quilting hoop frames are much wider then embroidery hoops. A narrow hoop can't handle the three layers of the quilt. A good quilting hoop is hard to find. Not many places sell them. If you happen to see a wide embroidery hoop at a yard sale buy it, it's a quilting hoop. A few years ago the Buhoogee Hoop was available to buy and they are fantastic! I don't know why they aren't being sold anymore. I can't find one anywhere.
