You can do it whichever way works best for you. Just make sure your seams match and be careful as you go that it is not getting "wonkerjawed" as we say in Texas. Looks like you have a great start. Love your colors!

Tackling a quilt like this in chunks is the most logical way to piece it, as the long rows could become confusing, at least to me anyway.
