Smile I have new (to me!) embroidery machine

I bought a used Babylock Ellageo machine today. It's an older one with the 3 1/2 inch drive on it but it does all kinds of neat things! Now I just need to find some Babylock embroidery cards for it.......

You won't have to use embroidery cards--I rarely use them in mine. I do use the 3 1/2 inch floppies a lot, though. If you don't have a floppy drive in your computer you can get one that will plug into a USB port and work just fine. You can buy designs from any designer, as long as you use your format, and unzip them and save them to your floppy disc. I do recommend you don't save a lot of unzipped designs at one time--it takes longer for the machine to read the disc, and don't save any unzipped files to it. If I can help you in any way, please PM me. I have an older Brother 2002D that still works just fine and uses the cards and floppies. Right now, I have no desire or need to upgrade.

I had one of those and sold it - it was an incredible machine and I am sorry bought another in its place. You will love it. It is not picky on thread and the stitching on mine was beautiful.

Congratulations!

Go to the DesignsBySick.com web site and join. It's free and they give away free designs every day. Also they are reasonable is price. Love them. I have 2 emb. machine and love them both. I know you will enjoy yours.

There is a thread on QB on "Special embroidery" group. I did not know about it until last week. Lots to learn I am finding out with my Bernette Deco 340. I search by those two words and found it. Good Luck and have fun.
