Red face Bella Verona, here I come

I saw this BOM in the Keepsake catalogue today and fell in love. Now remember I am the queen of batiks and work 90% of the time in batiks so this is real adventure for me in these fabrics. But it is a Timeless Treasures one of my favorite companies.

My computer says it is more merlot than the catalogue shows it and I looked at it in several pictures. I pulled it up on Hancock's of Paducah's site and knew it just had to be mine at $140 less for the kit!!! I think something has to be wrong that there is that much difference in price. Keepsake probably includes backing but it is not clear. Hancock's is pattern, fabric for top and binding which is fine with me because I use wide backings. There were a couple sites a smidge cheaper but I trust the big companies to get me the fabric as shown.

I think this is going to be my next "biggie". The Bali Wedding Star is off to the LA. The queen Summer Lake Log Cabin has been raffled. I was peddling along in UFO land without a mission, making purses, wallhangings and tablerunners.

it looks like you got a good deal. keepsake did not mention backing either, so the price difference is great for you.

Good for you. That is one beautiful quilt and I know you can more than handle it. Good luck.

I wanted a BOM kit that was over $300 if bought monthly! I "googled" it and bought it all at once for $150!! So, yes, always look for them elsewhere before you buy!
