Quick Question working with inchies
I'm constructing a piece using inch square pieces fused to light interfacing. It is then folded and the seams stitched in one direction and then the next.
I'm half way thru the first go and my question is do I slit the seam folds and iron them all open or just iron them all in the same direction. I'm thinking the second phase of folding an stitching will be very thick at the cross seams??

I've used this method ,no you do not split the long seams ,clip at the junction and than press seams one side one way and one side the other way at each square will look as you have stitched little squares together. Good luck.
