I had this thought that I should make a dallas cowboys piece for my mom since she loves them so much.

Next day, I go to the thrift store and there it is, like 3 yards of dallas cowboys fabric for like 2 bucks.

Nice, but she needs to go to the back of the line since I JUST made her a quilt.

A few weeks later, I'm back at the thrift store and saw a sheet that I thought would make a nice back, bought it, brought it home and yesterday unfolded it to see what? A dallas cowboys panel along the hem. It was a dallas cowboys sheet! lol.

ok ok. I GET IT. The quilt gods have a funny way of sending you messages.

That is so cool. My son in law loves Dallas Cowboys. I need to make him a quilt too. Hope I can be as lucky as you. Great finds for you.

That's amazing! Maybe you should make the quilt before lightening strikes or something!

Time to move Mom to the front of the line and get that quilt made. You don't want to make the quilting gods angry.
