    Dear "eeraemore",

    PLEASE sew a block (or 2) together and LET US ALL KNOW the resulting measurement!

    I'm delighted by the number of responses you've received and am eager to find out who's correct. So many good theories and approaches!

    Most importantly, I would like to learn from your experience and am pretty sure others feel similarly.

    It always makes me nervous when my quilting comes too close to math. Never did like math very well......
