I took the quilt off the frame and didn't notice the nesting until I started putting the binding on. It is only about 12". I'm thinking about putting it back on the frame to try and fix this area.

Anyone have this problem before and how did you fix it?

Yup, I would just back stitch starting on a part that looks "good" and then fix the error, back stitch at the end. I hate it when that happens!

I carefully remove the bad section leaving about 3 inch thread tails. I bring both threads to one side and tie them off and bury them in the sandwich. I then re-insert my needle where the thread hole ended and finsh the spot. I then tie off my new thread ends and bury then too.
