Default Quilt patterns

Do you ever see a pattern and take an instant dislike to it?

Well this has happened to me a couple times in the last week.
Not sure what it is about pattern that just didn't appeal to me
if it was the pattern itself or maybe the fabrics that was used.

At this point all I can really say is THANK GOODNESS there are
so many patterns and fabrics to choose from these days.

Now if I can only get my fabric/sewing organized so that I can get
back to sewing again.

I look to see if the pattern has good bones and how easy is it to make. Sometimes designers do use ugly fabrics that I would NEVER buy making their sample.

That happens to us all. Even at big shows I will wonder what someone way thinking. But then, they probably think the same about mine. :-)

Yes. I sure have. Whether it is because of the colors or the design, there are some crazy patterns out there.
We are doing the same thing. Organizing our quilting/sewing storage areas. I tore it up big time at the beginning of the week, and now have a terrible mess to go through. I am trying to release some of it to different places this time. I just donated 20 books to the library. I feel so liberated! LOL.. Now on to the rest of the mess.

Sunbonnet Sue and Sam, anything bargello, rail fence, and anything with machine applique. Yuck. (Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes.)

I seem to have an aversion to baskets and churn dash, plus the ones you said.

I like most patterns but sometimes fabric/color choices make me cringe, but I really dislike any Bargello. ANY!
