yes, just put it away and go back to it later. You might enjoy it more at a different time.

Sometimes it gets a little tedious putting them together but it's usually worth it in the end.

I agree. Put it away. I have been tempted to trash something and then later finish it. My aunt always had at least three projects going at once so she wouldn't get burned out on one. Good luck :P

I get rid of anything that bothers me real bad. Life's too short and I have loads of other things to do :)

I started one five years ago, it was a drunkard's path type in orientals. To make a long story short, I hated it then, and I hated last week when I tried again. Not wanting to waste fabric, I thought, I need a gift for a very good friend, so I took apart everything I had already sewn, pressed it all and started cutting out dresden plate blades. Everybody says "put it away and go back to it", well, when I put something AWAY because I didn't like it, when I take it back out, I still don't like it.

Put it away but attach a card with a definite date on when you'll work on it again. Then only do, say a row, at a time. From experience, this is how people end up with sewing rooms stuffed with UFOs. If something is bugging me, I designate 20 minutes a day to work on it.

Oh yes, putting blocks together is harder than piecing them. Pin a lot!
