Default Progress - but no way near a finish

This is an EPP quilt I am working on. It's currently about 21.5" from point to opposite point. At the end of the day it will have 5,482 1/2" hexagons, plus some circles and ovals. (https://www.cseesquilts.com/Star-Str...-p/ss-book.htm)

Only 5,188 more hexies to go !!! I already made a bunch of the hexies - just need to sew them together. No idea if I made enough hexies because no way in heck was I going to keep counting them I just figured I'd make hexies for a while, piece them together for a while, repeat until done. The cool thing though is because all of this is scrappy even if I have to make more hexies - no concerns about "running out" of a fabric.

beautiful so far. they are addicting, i've made about 4 now and when i'm done with my EPP star, i plan to go back to hexies. Have fun along the way. Great work! I love how it sparkles.

Love how you gradated your fabrics from light to dark. This is shaping up to be a stunning quilt.

You're something else! I can't fathom sticking with a project with 500 pieces, let alone more than 5,000. It's pretty, though.

Ditto. Can't wait to see the finished project. This will be lovely. BrendaK
