Today I bought the Fall/Winter issue of the "Quilt Sampler: magazine at Walmart. That is the magazine that highlights ten different quilt shops across the country. I've been collecting each issue since the very first one! Even the years I was not quilting (was busy knitting) I still picked up the copies when I saw them.

You're definitely the go-to person if anyone wants to know about a quilt shop in a specific area! Haven't checked out this magazine, thanks for the tip.

I used to really enjoy them as well, but I preferred their original format where they interviewed & shared the lives of the quilters working there, rather than just the store.

I think my LQS is featured in this newest issue.... Olive Juice Quilts in Onalaska, WI? I got an email from them & I thought that's what it said.

Yes burchquilts you are correct. I have never picked up the magazine before but had to get it when I heard my LQS-Olive Juice Quilts of Onalaska, WI was listed as one of the top 10 in the nation. Anxious to see how many of the other shops we can visit in the next few years. They all sound so inviting!
