I bought the Quilt Sampler spring summer 2011 magazine out now and it has some really nice patterns in it as well as lots of pictures of quilts made from purchased patterns. On page 46 the quilt on the table grabbed my attention and I had to find the pattern. I found out the pattern is included in the book: Schnibbles Times Two. I just love this pattern made from the colors in the magazine. The pattern name is Little Red. This is the first pattern I wanted to buy in a long time! I ordered the book instead of the stand alone pattern. Funny how one certain quilt pattern will latch on in your mind and you have to have it.

Yes the pattern I wanted is in the Schnibbles Times Two. The quilt picture of the pattern in the book is made from a bigger block size. I ordered it from Connecting Threads, cheaper then Amazon this time. The pattern is this one but it doesn't do it justice from the picture in the magazine.

I know I could do it without a pattern but when a pattern strikes me as WOW, I want to buy it, my way of thanking the designer. And the book will have more patterns I will probably like.

Yes it does have a picture of the one I liked! I didn't open all the pics. Just knew the book had the pattern. How simple and stunning it is.

I was that way with a pattern called Granny Squares by Lissa Alexander it was in American Patchwork and Quilting October 2010 I finally found where the pattern had been published, after a couple months of searching. Until then all I had was a picture of the quilt (didn't have the magazine ran across the picture on google)!
