Quilt type games for luncheon
#1
I need some suggestions for some fun games to be played at our annual quilting luncheon, where we've invited another club to join us. There will be about 40 quilters there. Already have quilt word scramble and seek words, but I thought with all the excellent quilters out there, we could come up with some fun TIME. I so enjoy the knowledge and hints of everybody on this board.

Guess how many buttons are in a jar?
How many pins are in the bottle? (winner gets the pins - could mix up several types of pins)
Would avoid "name that pattern" cuz different folks have different names for similar designs
was at a luncheon - had easy way of doing the door prizes - two chairs at each table had a sticker under the seat (10 people to a table) - one got the plant on the table, and the other got a book

Make up different words to old songs and do a sing along (hand out sheets with the words)
the one that comes to mind is "the leg bone is connected to the hip bone "
the square is sewn to the sashing - the sashing is sewn to the next square - the center is sewn to the border - the binding is sewn to the border - etc

Here's some links from the board with some great suggestions:

They were games for retreats but maybe you can modify them or it can give you some direction for another game. In any case have fun!

I made me a "BINGO" card and used items for each square and then placed the names in a box to be called out. You can re-arrange
the names in each square to where you have different cards and play Quilt Bingo. Prizes could be simple things or even an item on the card. With computers and printers, it's easy to make the card. If you would want help in this one, I can make the cards for you if you can print the files I send back!!
It's fun.
