Default Quilt in the Wall Street Journal today

My husband jokes that I get the Wall Street Journal for the recipes, and I will admit to stumbling over some good ones - but today they have a story about owls as being the current star of nurseries and kids rooms with a photo including a hand made owl quilt that is adorable - sure it's applique. Now it's for recipes and quilt ideas

I wouldn't have thought that a quilt would take precedence over the stock market !! I guess it is not the old Journal that I remember reading with my Dad!! But those were the days before personal computers when there was an actual ticker tape machine spitting out quotes on stocks !!!

I've been seeing owls EVERYWHERE lately, so I think WSJ is spot on. And they are more than just stock markets these days. ;-)

With the economy like it is and has been, I would think they would need something besides the stock market to fill their pages with. Owls are as good as anything else.

I like that...it's exactly what I do in the morning...check out the stock report and start quilting. It all makes sense to me!

Forget the Bear market vs the Bull market....it's an OWL market. Hahaha.
