I love these little jars ! I saw one tutorial that put a magnetic strip on the underside of the lid to hold needles. Another I saw put a piece of ribbon hanging out from the lid, that held a needle...of course should keep those away from children.

Ooh! And here are bigger ones with candy inside!

This would be a fun Christmas gift for a quilter.
Thanks for the links.... I have a pretty jelly jar with no pin cushion on top that I keep all the little squares trimmed off of HST's and any other tiny squares cut off of anything. My sister-in-law started me on this idea a long time ago. She had so many she divided them into colors...very pretty. And she had one jar that was just Green Bay Packer colors, green and gold (yellow). Mine is taller than this one and is stuffed to the top. Thanks for the links to the tutes.

my 2008 version
http://kalamaquilts.blogspot.com/200...ug-no-way.html

I aways have one of these "some assembly required" masterpieces going near the sewing machine.

We used to grow cut flowers as a sideline and I have many enormous clear vases. This year I'm taking one for every quilt and filling them with the little cuttings. The 50 stars one I made this year with the block a week group is all pink and green, so pretty. Makes for color in the winter~ kind of like a double sided quilt, more bang for the buck with my big vases

Haha, I read the title of this thread and instantly thought "Quilter's Jelly" was going to be some kind of joke about the state of our bodies after a long day sewing! LOL
